Alisha Fowler, Owner

Alisha is the founder of Longfellows and deeply committed to building community through good food and drink. Alisha's background lies in nonprofit management, food systems, and sustainability. She holds a BA from Hamilton College in Geoscience and Environmental Studies.

Before opening Longfellows, Alisha worked at the center of the sustainable food movement with Chefs Collaborative. Alisha is also a Registered Yoga Teacher and will resume teaching at Longfellows and Lamplighter this winter.

Jesse Jenkins, Co-Owner

Jesse is the co-owner of Longfellows, an MIT PhD candidate (May 2018), and a coffee aficionado.

Jesse's area of work at MIT is focused on zero carbon energy sources and so it's only fitting that he helps fuel the neighborhood's caffeine needs while studying what keeps the world moving.

Jordan, General Manager

Jordan has been with Longfellows since before we opened our doors. Working closely with the owners, Jordan helped scale our Cold Brew production and stepped into the role of General Manager in September 2017.

Jordan is a graduate of the University of Vermont with a degree in Nutrition and Food Science. Some of her greatest joys in life include kayaking, hiking, and going to see live music.

Chloe, Coffee and Tea Program Lead, Shift Supervisor

Chloe has been with Longfellows since before day one – she was officially our first hire. Chloe came to us with great experience in espresso and coffee, and she stepped into the role of Coffee and Tea Program Lead in September 2017.

Chloe majored in Art Studies at Williams College. When she's not at Longfellows you can most often find her drawing. In fact, Chloe's artistry is behind many of our pastry and café signs as well as Lamplighter's Wet Hop Cambridge Summer.
