MEET THE TEAM
Alisha is the founder of Longfellows and deeply committed to building community through good food and drink. Alisha's background lies in nonprofit management, food systems, and sustainability. She holds a BA from Hamilton College in Geoscience and Environmental Studies.
Before opening Longfellows, Alisha worked at the center of the sustainable food movement with Chefs Collaborative. Alisha is also a Registered Yoga Teacher and teaches at Longfellows and Lamplighter. In addition to coffee and yoga, Alisha loves spending time with her family, including her husband Jesse and son Sky.
Andrea, Kitchen Team Supervisor
Andrea joined the team in January 2017. Andrea helped launch, and now leads, Longfellows's kitchen program. Andrea is responsible for our daily cafe offerings as well as R&D of new menu items – including our rotating seasonal jams and house sodas.
Andrea is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts. Andrea is also an avid photographer and graphic designer.
Chloe, Operations Manager
Chloe has been with Longfellows since before day one – she was officially our first hire. Chloe came to us with great experience in espresso and coffee, and was promoted to the role of Operations Manager in Fall 2018.
Chloe majored in Art Studies at Williams College. When she's not at Longfellows you can most often find her drawing. In fact, Chloe's artistry is behind many of our pastry and café signs as well as several Lamplighter beer cans.
Sanjeev, Supervisor and Beverage Director
Sanjeev joined the Longfellows team in May 2017. In Fall 2017, he took on the role of Shift Supervisor and began leading our Cold Brew Coffee production.
In addition to making delicious cortados, Sanjeev organizes our weekly Running Club on Thursdays at 7:00am. Join him for a spin around the Charles!
When not at Longfellows, Sanjeev takes classes at Northeastern, and tutors students in math and science.
